A movie superstar, a vessel for serving the less fortunate, a very lovely partner to Brad Pitt and a generous mother. These are just some of the many things that can help you identify who are woman of the year is ( for us here). And yes she is no other than the very beautiful Angelina Jolie. The actress is everything but normal. She is currently a blockbuster actress again for her movie Salt which is by the way a role originally for Tom Cruise. She has six kids which she adopted from different parts of the globe and she has LOTS and LOTS of tattoos on her body. Now, how is that for normal? Here are some of her wonderful tattoos for you to see and have an idea.
1. Gothic Letter Tattoo- She has this on her back between her shoulder blades that says “Know Your Rights”. She said this was some kind of title from her favorite song of her favorite band.
2. Buddhist Tattoo Design- This tattoo is located at her left shoulder blade and it is a Buddhist Pali Incantation written in their native language which is Khmer script. The actress said it was placed there for them (her and Maddox) to be protected from bad luck and spirits. The translation? Here:

3. Arabic Tattoo Design- She has an Arabic tattoo on her right arm which means “Determination”. This tattoo also covers the one she had when she was still with Billy Thornton.
4. Cross Tattoo Design- She had this to cover the dragon design she had when she was in Amsterdam and a quote in Latin which says, “Quod me nutrit me destruit”, meaning “What nourishes me, destroys me.”
Angelina Jolie may have a LOT of tattoos but she also had some removed, sounds fair huh?
