Sure we’ve seen Hollywood stars don tattoos in foreign languages, but we did not see how this could lead to permanent inaccuracy. The latest to wear a probably grammatically mistaken tattoo is singer Rihanna. She was supposed to have the word “rebelle fleur” on the left side of her neck, this when translated would be “rebel flower”. Well it makes a lot sense why she chose that, maybe she would’ve have chosen a better translator perhaps. In French, the words rebel flower should be “fleur rebelle”. But she sure is not the first star to get stuck in a permanent mix of words. And the moral of the story, well it goes without saying that anything permanent should be well thought of. Tattoos are one of them, before even sporting a tattoo with any foreign sounding word or phrase, be sure to check all spellings and grammars. It is by the way permanent, and please try to look for a tattoo artist who knows how to spell. Yikes!
A Permanent Mix of Words!
