How to Care for your Temporary Tattoo

by Nat

Getting a permanent tattoo is a very serious business and you should know that. Aside from the fact that you have to see the one you got inked forever etched on your skin, there is also the pain part right? I mean you should be a 101 percent ready to have one, regrets have no room here. Anyway, if you really want a tattoo but not ready to face the pain yet nor the contract of permanency it is offering then you have come to the right place! Henna tattoos are here and it is also as cool as having a permanent one. You can also choose from a variety of tattoo designs and the best part is you can change anytime you want a new one or just remove it because you don’t feel like it right away and it is cheaper of course. Now, even if the henna is a temporary tattoo that does not mean you should not take care of it, the opposite actually. So here are some few tips on how to have that henna tattoo from heaven!

1. Eucalyptus oil should be applied to the area where the henna tattoo is to be applied.

2. It is advised to have a henna tattoo applied during bedtime because you can leave the tattoo paste for at least six hours to get better result.

3. Warm it up! They say henna colors more when it is warm so drink some hot drinks to heat up the tattoo.

4. Before you scrape the tattoo paste off, you should make sure that it is completely dry or else you will ruin the tattoo then put some topical decongestant to make that body part warmer to let the henna stain more then apply again after 2 hours then wash it off.

5. To make the henna stay longer, you should avoid washing the area much and protect it from the harsh chemicals of the soap you are using.

So here goes, enjoy your new henna tattoo!
